About

We are a family that loves Jesus.  I am a wife, mother, homeschool teacher, and missionary. My husband is a Chef at a downtown fine dining restaurant and a missionary. We recently became frustrated with the public school systems and decided it was time for me to quit my job and homeschool our kids. It was the best decision we have ever made.

As we were deciding whether or not I was going to be able to homeschool the kids, we got online and did a ton of research, reading blogs from other homeschool parents, and talking to parents living near us that have homeschooled. I know how scary it can be when you are first starting out. That is why I am using this blog to help other homeschool parents who need to find resources, need new ideas for projects, or just need to know that they are not alone in the craziness of starting homeschool.

I hope that you enjoy the posts that will be coming and I hope that some of the blogs will help you. God bless.

  1. I applaud you for going this route. I personally could not do as it is way more than I could ever do. I have done Connections for my children and it worked great for my daughter and when we ended up moving again during her last year she chose to do the K12 so she could work as well. For her this worked great and she graduated with as Salutatorian, but for my son it did not work.
It sounds like this is working well for you and you have done lots of research, which is critical. I wish you great continued success.
